Pilot physical flow account for plastic material, preliminary estimates

The physical flow account for plastic material comprises 14 variables that describe the production and fate of plastic in the Canadian economy. It is a new time series with annual estimates for reference years 2012 to 2018.

This release presents preliminary estimates aggregated to a single national total for each variable, for each year. There will be another release in early 2022 that will aim to add product, resin, and geographic detail.
