It’s been almost a year since we launched the StatsCAN app on January 31, 2022, and we’ve already reached over 10,000 users!
We want to send a big thank you to all those who have downloaded StatsCAN, participated in our feedback-seeking activities, rated and reviewed us, and shared the news about the app!
Data dissemination at StatCan is changing fast, with the introduction of the StatsCAN app and widespread adoption of the new tool. We couldn’t have reached this milestone without all of you!
What’s new?
Since launching the StatsCAN app, our team has grown, we’ve released new versions of the app with minor updates, and we’ve enhanced the in-app content.
We’ve also received lots of great suggestions from our users on how we can improve the app and we are busy developing larger enhancements and new features as a result.
Stay tuned for:
- A StatsCAN app feedback form
- Landscape mode to better support iPad and tablet users
- Push notifications to help deliver timely and relevant data to users directly on their mobile devices
Note on the holidays
With the holidays fast approaching, we would like to inform you that The Daily and StatsCAN Plus will be taking a small break, pausing all content from Monday, December 26, 2022 – January 3, 2023.
The StatsCAN app will also pause publications between these dates, but will return with even more engaging content, and enhancements in the new year.
From all of us on the StatsCAN app team, we would like to wish you a warm, joyful holiday season, and a wonderful New Year!
