Statistics On-Line Database presents information on transportation and transportation-related activities among Canada, the United States and Mexico, both within individual countries and between the countries.

In this section, you will find a variety of transportation-related metrics, enabling data comparisons between Canada, United States and Mexico. Comparable socio-economic profiles for each country are also available, for contextual reference.

The concepts and technical information needed to fully understand the data tables are accessible below.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is the only industry classification system in the North American region. NAICS contains categories (classified in a hierarchical structure of economic activities) agreed to trilaterally between Canada, the United States and Mexico. NAICS agreements permit each country to designate detailed industries to meet national needs at the lowest level of aggregation.
